No VTEC, Any Ideas?
Thanks for the ideas guys, but I finally found the problem. After stripping down the harness I found that the O2 senor wires had been cut and wired back wrong. CEL is off and car runs great.

Have you touched any of the wiring besides the vtec solenoid and pressure switch? There is more to this story than you're telling us I think..

knock sensor? did u do the swap and forget to wire up knock sensor? I had this problem with mine. It kept my vtec from engaging and i was throwing a cell.

Re: No VTEC, Any Ideas?
Hey Fabrik8, I actually picked up this ECU from you a few months ago. I don't know if you remember, Skatermike and I each got one and after it was throwing the CEL in my car we brought it back and you hooked it up in your Del Sol the make sure it was good. Those were the only wires I have touched due to the vtec code, I checked the harness and all the wires have continuity.
The knock senor is not connected but the ECU had the knock senor taken out so I didn't bother. I'll give that a try thanks.

Not low on oil, just changed it the other day. There was quite a bit in the vtec solenoid each time I changed them out so I know its getting oil. There was also no debris in the screen so I don't think it getting blocked.

Would I need to hook up the knock senor even though the ECU is chipped to not use one and its not throwing a knock senor code?
