no vtec

Default no vtec
my ecu is throwin a code 21 which is a vtec solenoid problem. i replaced the solenoid and im still throwin the same code. im thinkin it has somethin wrong with the wiring since my car didnt come stock with this motor(cx with a d16z6). let me know what you guys think

the engine was swapped a while back, this is my old hatch...as screwd04 said, i believe the wiring may not be perfect, whether or not that would affect anything i don't know...

I know a place that will rewire the whole engine harness for 140 pm if interested

What engine harness are you using? And have you always hade these engine codes since the motor was swapped?
