the gauge dosent read above cold ... but the car hasent had anyproblems till now and its been like that for awhile.. im trying to figure out why they had done it like that..

check yaor distributor then your MAS! had the same problems with mine

it is ok for the fans to stay on all the time. I had them wired like that on my sr20det had no problems at all.

So you really don't know if the engine is warming up or not I guess. You should really find out if that coolant temp sensor is working properly, and if it's hooked to the ECU like they usually are. So I'm guessing that you're having another problem, but it really wouldn't hurt to put the fans back on a temp switch like they were stock. It's just lazy not to, and you're not going to need them running all the time once the weather gets cold. Temp switches are really cheap, and I'm sure there probably a stock one on your engine somewhere already. I'm a little biased, I hate cars with hacked up electrical systems, which unfortunately is a lot of used cars. I wish people wouldn't mess with things they don't know anything about, but whatever. It's too bad you bought the car already damaged.

yea sucks .. the car is really nice just this one problem .. ii tried to ask the person i got it from why the did it and the said some one else must have .. im going to try to hook them up right this weekend and as far as the distributor will i see any signs of it being messed up if i take the cap off .. i had looked before and the rotor and button are fine.. anywhere i should be paying attention to? thanks for all the info....

i owned 3 of them, when is the last time you changed the rotor button and distributor cap????? i had the same problem multiple times on my gle auto,and se manny trans cars. the early 94 models had buttons that were a little different from the late 94's also,not a commonly known problem.

thanks for all the help..... m.a.s. wasthe problem .. i had the car running then taped on it and the car died.. restarted it and taped on it ran smooth.. replaced it no more problems so far.. thanks ...
