Nissan titan rims on a 93 nissan hardbody
Ya so i just got a killer deal 300 for a set of titan 18's five spoke to throw in with my sr swap and the back ones fit great ( with the exception that the tires are a little large and rub the finder wells but easy fix) however the front hubs are not allowing me to set the rim on all the way because of some notches on the hub itself. Now i have seen these rims on cardomain.com on a 97 hardbody so i was curious if any of you know if the front hubs on a 97 are different than that on my 93. both are 2wd by the way.
thanks.
thanks.

I'd suggest checking the stock backspacing on your 93 versus the backspacing on the Titan rims and getting spacers made, or try to find the spacers you need for correct backspace.

Re: Nissan titan rims on a 93 nissan hardbody
thanks for the responses i found in further research that i have to get the backside of the center of the wheel bored out four inches to fit around the front hub and yes i am trying to get rid of the tires not the rims though the tires are 265/70/18 if anyone is interested. 40 for the set takes them they still have plenty of tread left.

Hey man this is pretty common, there is alot of info on sites like nissancustoms.com. Using a router can be done, but will really mess up balance etc. Just go to a good machine shop and get them to bore it, I just got my Denali wheels done for dirt cheap. Titans only have to bored about half way, enough to clear the hub, so do some measurements, and go to a reputable machine shop. BTW you need the center bore to be 4 inches for a harbody (any year)
