Q: Do I have to take the suspension out my car to adjust the height using the Lower Mount.
A: No you don’t. Here’s the trick!! There are 2 perches under the spring. One is for the spring to sit on, and the 2nd one is to lock the spring perch. First you want to lock the spring perch tight to the shock body! Next there should be one last perch that locks the lower mount into place. You want that to be loose. Now what this does is makes the spring and shock move together freely, inside the lower mount. Next your going to take your adjustment wrench and using the spring perch, rotate the shock either clockwise, or counter clockwise. The entire shock assembly and spring will rotate inside the lower mount moving it up or down. Clockwise to lower, Counter clockwise to raise the car. When you have your desired height, make sure to lock the lower collar to the lower mount. Make sure everything is nice and tight, and put your wheels back on and check your height.
