only 3 of my cylinders are working i started my engine and pulled the spark plugs wires one by one and the 3rd cylinder when i pull it out it makes no difference all the other ones the motor will rock hard and stall out so what it wrong with it ?? i checked the wires its not those and i got new spark plugs and its not that either what else could it be ?? or am i just gonna need to buy a new engine or rebuild this one ?? im not gonna rebuild it if thats what i need to do cuz its the stock hf motor in my crx ....how much will it be to fix it ?? thanx for any help

they are fine i switched em all around but still only the 3rd cylinder didnt work

 

do a compression test. maybe bad rings on that cyl...

 

what kinda car do you have?

did it do it while racing? spraying nitrous?
or it just all of a sudden start acting up one day?

well i just baught it its a crx hf 89 i dont know how it happened cuz the guy said he was puttin a swap then took it out and while puttin that engine back in broke a spark plug wire or sumthin but i checked all of that and its not the wires or the spark plugs or distributer so i dont know what else it could be

va beach but if nobody can give me an easy solution then im just gonna buy a stock hf motor on friday for $100 unless i can fix mine for cheaper
