Motor Cuttin Right off
Yo due check the map sensor, throtle position sensor, and the idle air control valve if that dont work hit me up and ill try to come look at it for cheap if your not to far from va beach
heck no man ive tried 3 different motors i know this one is good though i took it out of my friends running car. ive had 3 different honda techs help try wiring it and its still not running. we did have it so it ran it just wouldnt rev over 3000 and it was throwing a crank angle code and some guy changed some wiring and now it has no codes but still wont run it even runs worse now it starts and shuts right off it wont idle
man if your wiring is so messed up, replace the whole harness! Go out and grab an obd0 harness from an Si hatch or crx and swap it. Then you will at least know that it is not a wiring issue, so long as the interior wiring was not cut or messed with.
It sounds like a map problem. When the car is running, pull your map sensor connector and see if there is any change in the idle. The car should not run without the map sensor. If there is no change, you probably have the wrong plug connected to it, or the wires are going to the wrong pins down at the ecu.

best idea yet, get that taken care of and go from there! run that and a obd 0 ls ecu with the correct dizzy obviously and see what happens. it sounds like a map problem and god knows what has been done to that harness
what year motor and ecu is it?
