This is really more of personal preference. Stage 2 shouldnt present much of a idle problem as 3's will. Definelty research your cams for lift and duration. Biggest thing though, lift, you dont want to have any physical contact with the piston. Defiently measure your clearances.
Pardon the spelling.

I was gonna say pretty close to the same thing.
Another thing is, you don't want cams to big for your compression(stage 5 Buddy Clubs on stock GsR), and you don't want cams that go too high in the rpms, unless you have a tuned(chipped whatever) ecu to go up into those higher rpms, along with the valve-train.

Re: motor (cams)
Stage 3's are abit much and will be pretty much a waste without a bump up in compression. Stage 2's are good but Buddy Club Spec III's are better. I wouldnt just throw some cams in either without upgrading the valvetrain. You can get a pretty good deal on everything from OmniPower.
for B-Series DOHC VTEC Motors
Buddy Club Spec III camshafts
Omni Power Dual Valve Springs
for 754.99

Re: motor (cams)
the car must be tuned with any big mod such as cams and must have good valve springs and retainers the buddy club is a good cam but the skunk pro1/pro2 cams make really good low to mid numbers and they idle preety well i tested alot of cams this year and the skunks worked in ls crank 11.5 motors and in my big 2.2ltr motors about the same
