Question MAP sensor problems?

i was driving my 94 ex tonight and i reved up a little, my car backfired hard as hell at 5500 rpms and then the fuel cut off. it was like i was redlining at 5.5k. one of my boys said it was prolly my MAP sensor and another said it was maybe somethin else. also other then the fuel cut off it drives perfect, actually stronger then ever? confused. any info will help.

nope. now its doin the same thing but at 6250-6500 range.....still confused. some guys are saying maybe o2 sensor?
