Angry manual window won't roll up.

wtf...
I go to roll my window back up and it stops 2" from the bottom. I know my car is going to get broken into now. I took the door cover off and I can't see anything wrong. please!!!

If you cant adjust it, it is more than likely the "regulator".

after it goes up two inches, does it go back down? its may be just going off the rails and getting jammed, like a zipper.

it will go up and down 2 inches, yes. I can see if I look down and it just looks like a cable pulls it up/down. (no track?)

same problem in my 89 s13, its the cables that connect to the window crank to the window frame. They start to fray and become jammed...just try to back it off and try again. if not pull the door panel off and check to see if one of the cables isnt severly frayed and jammin the thing....just my 2 pennies.

thanks, I found it. A spring had got in the way of the crank and was jamming the whole mechanism. everythings good now =]
