Default LS/Vtec setup questions.

i am thinking about puting a LS block in place of my B16a2 block and was wondering if any ls block will work or would it have to be 94+ (b18b i think)

Change the pistons in the ls block too. Take those PR3's and put those in the ls. Much better probably like 15-20 hp easy

From what I'v hear, not sure how true, but the OBD0 b18a1 are stonger. But any Block will work. IF you need the LS/vtec oil feed line, let me know. I will sell you some for dirty cheap, Never used.

If you don't have high compression for vtec, it's not really worth it besides the torque you are gaining. I have made motor's with stock ls blocks with a vtec head, but was also adding turbo kit's too them. If you are going N/A put those B16a pistons in the LS block and run some ITR or CTR cams and you should be able to put down around 175 whp easy. With some good headers, intake and tuning.
