Exclamation LS/VTEC

Whats up everybody easy ? i was wondering if any out there has done ls vtec in a eg hatch using an LS block and a GSR head with CTR pisons and a 2 layer metal head gasket with LS rods and if so what type of power am i looking to get with the setup?

built one, gettin ready to install........will get more info for you, if you need a ls/vtec conversion kit, I have an extra oil sandwich and oil line from golden eagle.......hit me up.....

i was using the ctr pistons and had a trouble with detonation down low, head was milled a bit and compression came out to like 11:8. i had hondata and 310injectors and still had trouble down low under 4k rpm. but the car made 178 whp, was only taking up to 8k cause the stock ls rods made me a bit nervous. car was very fun though, the golden eagle conversion kit is the way to go if you want it done nicely.

i built one with jdm type-r pistons with a gsr head it was fun all motor then i boosted it hehehehehehehehe

That setup will yield you about 13.3c/r, you will have a hell of a time with detonation. And that doesn't take into consideration if the head is milled.
