Exclamation ls/eg problem, help needed!!!

I was just wondering if anyone could give me some info on my situation. the problem is....

92 civic si
95 b18b w/ auto wiring harness
95 b18b manual ecu

Now the problem,
It’s giving me an error code 6, which is my ect engine cooling temp.
The temp gauge in the car is working just fine.
Even if the car is not completely on, just acc the fan will turn on, its on all the time. If I unplug the sensor right next to the ect, the fan will shut off.
I have swapped the ect plug that goes into the engine, same error code.

I was wondering if the wiring could be different?? even though the temp gauge in the car works? I’m kind of lost.
Please help. Thanks.

oh yea, i have tried a manual p28, and get an automatic error and the ect error. so yea... thanks again.
