Default knocking.

i have a 1992 honda civic.

i noticed today, that when im stopping, i hear a knocking type of noise. it doesnt occur while im driving, or while stopped, just in the midst of stopping. and only when im under 20 mph. its coming from the front end. im not sure if its a brake problem, or a motor problem. thoughts?

from the descripition it's kind of hard to trouble shoot...sounds like one of those things someone just has to hear in person....

how long has this been goin on?
just after a brake re-line?

you need to pull teh wheels..and check for loose caliper bolts.....then look at the strut rod bushings....then look at all other bolts on the suspension..is it lowered? if so, how?

hmm..may be suspension loose....does it do it only on braking, or on bumps too?
