knock sensor question

knock sensor question

if i dont have the knock sensor hooked up to my p30 will it effect the running of the car, or just have the check engine light on?

Sometimes it will make it run like ass, sometimes not. It's funny that way.

I wouldn't say 50/50.. It's probably going to run like ass. Get your P30 chipped with a knock sensor disabled program.. It can be the stock program, it doesn't matter, it just needs the knock sensor disabled in software.
