Knock sensor and heat?
hrmmm since the weather change here in va, my afc2 has been reading knock that constantly gains. when it's colder outside like at night, i don't have any problem at all w/ the knock sensor reading knock..but during the day when it's like 80-90 degrees, it keeps rising slowly but at the same pace. after driving about 20 or 30 minutes it's up to reading 40 knock.. thing is you can't hear a damn thing besides the loud injectors and an occasional usual rattle. also, the car has ZERO problems with driving under this pressure. how do i know this? i participated in a driving school for autocross this weekend and had at least 4 hours of seat time as well as the autocross the next day. i had multiple people be like "i don't hear anything wrong w/ your motor, just recalibrate the knock reading" (because i calibrated it when it was ~20 outside). Anyone have any input?
