Just Wondering
Kinda just wanted some opinions... I have some time to think it over considering it won't happen until next winter. ( I have some bonds maturing that I can't have till I turn 21 lol )
For my del sol, should I go:
Completely Built Z6 Turbo (350-400whp)
Built Bottom End LS Turbo (350-450whp)
K20 Swap with Bolt-ons and Hondata (200-230whp)
Keep in mind, this will be a car I drive daily, and is not a race car. Just want something keeps me loving my car, and something that is fun to drive every time I get in the car.
What ya'll think?

how much are you looking to spend? currently your list reads cheapest to expensive.
btw: this is not a smart way to spend your riches. as cars get jacked daily and some insurance companies will not cover anything other then a stock replacement engine if your engine jacked.

I totally hear what you guys are saying, but I don't know, this is just something I am looking into. It will be about a year before anything starts ...
But anyway - in my list most everything is the same price.. Fully built (Head and Block) D16 turbo, LS swap (Bottom end built, head staying stock), and K20 swap with bolt ons.
All of them would be about 5-6 thousand dollars.

btw: you don't have to do the head to make 400 whp on a d. made just under 283 whp with a stock y7 head/built y7 bottom, cost me ~$1500.
ps: your a retard for spending your bonds in such a way. re-invest and buy a real sports car in 5 years.

lol, your kidding right? you must have one hell of a hook up for a k20 swap. no, you really did list them from cheapest to most expensive. a built d can be had for a little less then $2 grand. in fact, i know where you can get all the parts top to bottom (minus the cam) for $600. if you do most of it yourself, a $1000 build block is see able.

I know I don't HAVE to build the head, but I was just coming up with some options. Figured if I had some money to do it, may as well do it all.
The reason I said it was expensive to build was because machine work is pricey. I would install the motor/turbo/whatever, but am not too comfortable with pistons and rods etc.
Really the choice comes down to boost or N/A
