how could any of you assume that it's a CPS when you don't even know what year and engine he has in his jeep?

Norry, which Jeep do you have? Which engine? Is the check engine light on?

The Jeep probably cuts off when you come to a stop, correct? Like after driving, then you slow to a stop, then is dies?

my jack up ranger used to do this and it was the relay button for the cut off to the gas tank . alot of cars has this . main purpuse is if you got hit to hard it would kill your gas to the engine and you got to hit the reset button before it should work again . well mines was going bad so it would turn on and off by itself without having to actually reset the relay button.. not sure if jeeps has this though .

but to many factors on this one like the above poster stated need more info . we can guess all day but more info needed.

make model yr engine . check enigne light . codes etc.... running lean or rich ?
