Default Jdm p30

Bought a jdm p30..put it in the car n the car has a sputter then will pick up n you switch gears n it sputters then picks up..like not enough fuel...but put a p28 in the car runs fine..its on a b20vtec setup with b16 head..i know ecu looks for knock could this be y..

Just get a chipped ecu and save yourself the headache. Oh yeah...YOU'RE A DUMBASS FOR THINKING A P30 WILL RUN A B20 EFFICIENTLY.

Let's clear something up: If you make a useful post, and then include some complete bullshit along with it, I'm going to delete your post. And if enough people do that in a thread, I start dealing out a liberal sprinkling of infractions. Tech Talk is not the place for stupid bullshit.

Sooooo...
Yes, you need a knock sensor with a P30. No, it won't be mapped properly. Neither will a P28. You need a tuning solution.

OP, sounds like you need a knock sensor with a P30, it won't be mapped correctly though. . ..neither will a p28. . .or an x45, b52, or p51.
