car will start for a sec and cut off its getting fuel pressure and power but its not pulsing so there not squirting so it wont run we just put this ls in this crx and did all the wiring twice and its rite just something is still acting up

please help

 

Ok, so here's my diagnosis.
The injectors work fine, because if they didn't the car wouldn't start.
Chances are, you have a critical sensor fault, most likely something that senses rotating position. The engine is turning over and the ECU is freaking out when it can't figure out where it is after the crank cycle is done.
Any check engine lights, and are you using the correct ECU for that engine?

 

it was a dx wasn't it??? recheck the wiring at the ecu plugs that go to the distributor....or your fuel pump is starting to kick the bucket

 

did you hook up a injector box? if its obd0

 

deffinatley sounds like the ecu cant figure out where to be on the timing/fuel maps.

 

yeah im using the pr4 and we hooked up everything right its a dx and it just wont stay runnign for nothing

 

I'm no EF expert, but isn't the DX ECU pinout different than the Si (or PR4) pinout? Has that been resolved?

 

Im telling you its the wiring at the ecu..... Ive had the same problem before!!!!!!!!

 

well to late now after hours and hours of trying to get running its toast now the head gasket is leaking got milky oil need new motor please help

 

Are you sure the crank angel sensor is wired right. if that is reverced it witl do what you are talking about some diagrams are wroung on the pinout location ff-squad is one of them .
