Info on 72 Pontiac Ventura
Anyone here have info on the 1972 Pontiac Ventura II sedan? Looking for direct swap info...chassis upgrades, performance parts....

Its a 72 nova.
which engine? likely a 350 olds (how many valve cover bolts will tell you if its a 350 Rocket or just a base 350) most are stout.
if you want to really get to make some power cheap, yank it out and drop in a SBC. but it would be better to keep the BOP drivetrain in it though.

yep, but you will need to change the trans if you want to drop in an SBC. you can get a 350 Rocket and it should bolt to that trans, but i wouldnt expect it to last long due to having less clutches in it.

actually the chevy 350 would be a wise choice for this car. the inline 6 already has the same bolt pattern as the chevy v8s do. the main thing youd need is the v8 frame mounts. possibly a larger radiator. is your tranny a th350 (3 speed at) or a powerglide (2 speed at) ?
