Default Impossible to Fix?

I just bought a 1993 240sx shell that came with a free engine. $500 all together.

The seller said the Ka24e engine in it runs good except there are electrical problems. Dont ask why its a ka24e engine that got swapped into the 93.

My automechanic dad being the unsupportive person he is said that it would be impossible for me to fix the car. He Said that I pretty much wasted my money.

Well I dont know much about cars yet but I'm thinking my dad is lying and hes just trying to discourage me.

Here's what I have so far after I stripped away most of the interior. Is it fixable and where should I start? I have a Chiltons manual and a couple of DVD's on the way. Also I've been researching nonstop for the past 2 months. Any more help would be appreciated. I'm thinking I need a new Body Harness and ECU and all that?

What are the reported problems to begin with? You should start by fixing those and then move on with finishing the swap. Where are you located? Maybe someone close to you can help you out with it.

The seller said the Engine was running before it got switched over. I'm not thinking of swapping the engine anytime soon. I just want to get the engine running. It seems to be only electrical problems that are holding me back.

I'm located in Norfolk. Anybody willing to comeover and take a look at it can call me at 7575131309 anytime.

I'm pretty much stuck until I get my manuals and dvd's. I'm still researching around the internet but yeah heh.
