I didnt say you were good to go. I guess i misunderstood what you were saying. I was under the impression it was YOUR car that these symptoms were from, sorry for my confusion. I dont know about buying a car with these symptoms. There are too many variables when its not your car. Lets say it IS throwing codes, but the individual who is selling it took out the cel indicator so you wouldnt know? Or lets say when he had the vehicle he made several home made alterations to the stock vacuum setup? Disabled IAB and EGR but did a shitty job of it?

I would definently NOT buy it with these symptoms. Again, sorry for my confusion, guess it pays to pay attention when im reading.

my crx was doing that I took the idle adjustment screw oiut and cleaned it off and reinstalled it fixed it!

fast idol valve? check that or the vac lines that is what it usally is on these hondas or a combonation of both? idol screw was a good idea also, havent heard that one before

its a 98 and something is wrong with it i just havent found out wat yet. im taking to to the shop soon to see its worth buyin..
