Idle problem....

make sure your vacuum lines are all going to the right location. Just cuz there not leaking doesn't mean everything has the right amount of vacuum. that can cause an idle surge too.

My boy had the same problem with his teg and it was his MAP sensor. Try and check that.

did it throw a code??? I dont see how the map sensor would make mine throw an egr code. But its worth a try.Ill test it.

I read over everything you have checked and all could be possibilities.. the only thing that i see that you havent checked is the FITV located underneath yer TB check that it will cause yer car have those symptoms.

already checked it...im thinkin now since i still have an egr code its the egr vacuum solenoid, so ima replace that 2morrow and see what happens.

I just replaced the egr control solenoid valve and the constant vacuum control valve/egr vacuum control valve,then reset the ecu and what do u kno it throws an egr and knock sensor code again. I also checked the vacuum hose routing and its correct.So now im thinkin its the ecu??????

Problem fixed.Thank you Gene!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now sell me that ecu so i can get rid of this knock sensor code...
