To be more painful in correcting all of this, there needs to be a charge of positive pressure in the intake. A BOV is a mere helper in the execution of Moore's law in relation to pressure and gas.

But I'll put one on your intake on a NA car...of course it'll never make any noise....EVER...

You'll definetly need positive charge pressure to make the BOV go off. At atmospheric pressure, it's not gonna do anything ...
