I am not getting full boost
B20b t3/t4 50 trim turbo tuned on 14 psi has mbc on it. Car has been running good. When I went to drive today maybe been driving 45 mins got on highway. When i went into boost it only went up to 6psi at most on my gauge and won't go over that. Never happen before after inspection Turbosmart wastegate bolts was a little loose. I tighted them up still nothing over 6psi. Can anyone help me out? couplers are fine dosent seem to have any boost leaks.

Re: I am not getting full boost
Alright i checked it and it doesnt seem to have any cuts or leaks in line. Also I pulled the vaccum line from wastegate coming form boost controller while car was running and it didnt do anything. Could this be related to my problem?

Re: I am not getting full boost
Chances are you have one or more of four common problems:
Your wastegate is not closing properly.
Your blowoff valve isn't closing properly.
You have a vacuum line leak that is causing the first problem.
You have a coupler/piping leak, or an intercooler leak.
There are other possibilities also, but those are the common ones. Disconnecting the wastegate line won't do anything with the car just sitting there running, because there isn't enough exhaust energy to make a difference either way.

Re: I am not getting full boost
Checked couplers there still on but looks like it might have pushed alittle off the intercooler. That might be problem. To bad i ran out of daylight so i will have to check it tomorrow. Hopefully thats it. Any other input on what i should check is welcome

Take apart your MBC to see if there is a piece of hose or debris in there..Do it over a sheet of paper so you can see if anything falls out...It doesn't take much to bind up that ball..
