Default How to tell front springs from back ones?

Hey, i'm going to be installing my back springs so i need to know which are the back ones, I guess the ones that are a little shorter, and skinnier? Let me know guys.

on most there should be a number on them with a weight difference. or some kind of number differ on them

they will often say F for front or R for rear after the number.

They support the drivetrain so I would think the bigger ones are fronts. Thats how it was on my car.
