Best way to get bolt out?

Default Best way to get bolt out?

Hey, I was going to take the rear suspension fork off to do my springs and i cracked the head off one of the bolts the bolts the fork down at the bottom, it's a 95 civic lx. Let me know guys.

You're probably going to have to drill, be carefull to drill using a proper sized bit and drill parallel so you don't damae the fork. If any damage is done to the fork it can be replaced or you can re-thread.

buy some aftermarket lca's and new struts and call it a day.

acetylene torch. cut the ears off the strut and cut the bolt and it'll all fall apart.

Use an EZ-Out. Drill small hole, then reverse drill with ez-out bit and bolt should come out. If you have access to a torch then do what mike said, alot easier.

Where would I get an ez out bit? I don't want to damage my suspension fork.

home depot, auto parts may have them, most likely a hardware store though.

What he said. I had to do that same thing. Damn titanium drill bit wouldn't even scratch the bolt.
