Default How to tell the difference between a 420a and a 4g63
I have a motor from fourstar engine and i cant call because they went out of bussiness. I have no clue what kind of motor it is. I know that it is for an eclipse, but how do i tell the difference between a 420a and a 4g63?

4g63 cam gears are on the driver side. 420a cam gears are on the passenger side

the 420a should also have raised letters/numbers on the block that say 420 or 420a

Notice how the air intake is on the left side of a 4g63, and right side of 420a
