Default Which ECU can i use

Hey guys, curious which ECU's i could use and chip for a h22a4 in a 2000 prelude. does it have to be a P13 or can i use other ones?

P13s are bastard stepchildren of the Honda ECU family, and only one of them can be chipped (USDM or JDM, I can't remember which). Even so, most of the common ECU tuning programs won't work on P13s because the code is so different. You're better off using a P28 if you don't have secondary butterflies, and a P72 if you do.

buy a p28 ecu from http://www.phearable.net/testimonials.html and he will send you a base map along with it. He also does 2 step rev CEL shift light ,and launch control with all his ecu's

Get an OBD2-OBD1 conversion harness first, then invest in a chipped P28 or P72.
