Horrible Tuning By Brauning. Need another tuner !!!
I took my car to my tech and we rerouted the oil return line from the turbo. Found a few oil leaks. A Big one from the Headgasket. Camshaft seal. Those was never a balance shaft seal retainer installed. My lower cross member was installed. A few other things. We replaced the Engine wiring harness. Got the speedo working. After 9 hours of working on my car we shot 4-5tf flames out the rear of the car !! Funny but NOT TO FUNNY TO ME.. I talked to Brauning and there going to pay my tech to fix the things that were Brauning Motorsports responsibilities. So Brauning is standing behind there work I guess. Not over yet. But we did look at the internals through the bottom end. I saw shiny new parts !! Dan said everything looked ok. I drop my car off tonight and he will start working on it tomorrow morning . I should have it back by sunday . Unless " the block needs to be redecked. " Which is something I hope that doesnt need to be done . Just means longer without my car. I am glad my car is getting fixed !!! All I ever wanted was some !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah i understand that but every shop has that happen because shit happens.. Not every motor is in shape to be boosted to begin with and the tuner can't always be blamed, in some cases it may be thier fault but its far to many variables involved to try to pinpoint the reason..
Do you think every car that has been tuned and leaves, but blows up after boosting for the 1st time on the setup, should be blamed on the tuner??..
I bet the good far outweighs the bad..
He is'nt the greatest tuner, he may not even be good, but he is compentent enough to make a car run right on a breakin if the wideband was hooked up..
I just watched him tune 2 cars saturday both customers we're very pleased you don't just forget how to tune from setup to setup..
Maybe he messed up both of your cars dunno just my opinion..
I know all those trophys that have been won dating back to the mid 90's having the fastest all motor car on the east coast back when 12's was screaming and the 2004 nopi all motor championship don't come from people who don't know what thier doing..
Not trying to defend them but those are facts and thier credentials are a hellva lot better then most..

Cars that are running fine b4 tune, then blow up after tune are NORMALLY the fault of the tuner... If the engine is not in the shape to be boosted the shop should say something and tell them that because the engine has high miles, or is old or what ever, the risk of the engine blowing is higher... This was obviously their fault... at least they are trying to fix it... sorta...

That no different the then guy with the b16 motor i knew it was hurt and told him so but he wanted a tune anyway saying the smoke was from the turbo cause he wanted to race that night.. BYE BYE ringlands but he insisted..
Sorry this guy had a bad experience hopefully he gets his car right but when trying to go fast shit happens.. I'd recommend Shad has well always read good things about him and Fisher at Inline..
I'm not sure of that, i know Norris,Mark and John inline all we're together at type R or redline or something another way back 90's maybe business partners but they all split to do thier own thing which has worked out pretty good for them all, atleast thats what i heard.. Mark and Norris we're rivals on the track with Mark winning the 2004 NOPI all motor championship although some will cry he went to all the events and thats true but that car was still fast and performed well.. Then Mark tore out his knee and has never returned to the track except the occasional test and tune..
And those plugs look very rich..
