you would probably lose power considering the b16 is a smaller motor, although many people argue it is more efficient and the rod/stroke ratio is almost perfect, its still a 1.6, when the gsr is a 1.8, the b16 head flows better as well.....

they would run pretty much the same. the b16 head flows a little better but the gsr head gives you a little higher compression...

this is probably one of the most ignorant things I have ever heard. So...cheaper is better huh? How about doing something correct is better. How about researching something to find out about it is better. How about saving that extra hundred bucks to get the right stuff is better.

Its assholes like you that come bitching to drag "Hey man, my shit blew up but its cool because it was cheap and in x months I'm gonna get ____ and its gonna rock!"

Again. Ignorant.

but back on point

b16 head + GSR bottem end= high torque, lower horsepower
GSR head + b16 bottem end= high horsepower, lower torque

like mentioned above, its all about the displacement.

so... what do you want? Burnouts and high speed, or good launches and being able to pull on somebody?

Real cool dude. I dont want to hear your lip my shits built right, there is not "better choice". Just opinions that vary. I have a typer head and wouldnt trade it for anything and then i have friends with gsr heads who say the samething and some wish they would get b16s. So thanks for the comments that made no sense at all asshole. Oh yeah and all the b16 series heads and typer flows best and is less restrictive right off the bat, and cheaper so just call jdmshit.com and tell them u want a XSI head and it will be 515 shipped.

Go back to school. Your gramatical errors and sophmoric attitude would so belong there. Fuck nut.
