apparently H22a has a weak crank as well. there is an accord at my shop right now with a 94 h22a from a prelude type s all wheel steering, he was driving down the interstate going to work and the crank broke on the end. you can turn the flywheel and the crank pully in opposite directions.

a 94 prelude type S huh?????? there was a prelude S with a F22, 130 hp non Vtec SOHC

last i heard the type S ( 220 hp engine) wasn't produced in the 4th generation preludes, and they have atts.

i donno why you guys keep saying these cranks are weak, most 600HP+ h series engines still run stock cranks.

the guy said the h22a came from a 94 prelude s and it is JDM cause he had to wait a long time to get it. im goin by what he said. he also is getting it fixed for free because it is the 3rd h22 that the insurance company has recieved complaints about the crank breaking and they are taking honda to court to reimburse him. also motors dont break for no reason at all theres always somthing that causes it whether it be the driver.. or perhaps somthing stops functioning and causes engine failure. im making 2 grand off of swappin this engine out so i dont give a fuck what you think of me so go practice falling down k thx bye.
