Well, if you are not using the "hack", you can use both. I've done it before. The problem tho, is that it is so hard to tune the AFC with the blue box being in the system as well. The signals on both computers are somewhat contradicting each other.

If you have an EX, why not get the VAFC?

I'd sell it and get either a Hondata or VAFC. I think the VTEC control is crucial when tuning it properly.

Yea, i would get the VAFC, but this is the limited edition SAFCII, JDM version. I like it. I may get the VAFC in the future tho.

It'll be fine man. I keep my VTEC set point in stock anyway to avoid VTEC/Boost overlap

because knock sensor imo is more important than vtec-E

Get that bitch tuned right and you won't need a knock sensor.
