Default having problems with my swap

im trying to get this swap dont one my 96 civic hb im putting a 97 JDM integra typer in it. i bought my motor mounts from avid saying it would fit 96 civic w\ any b series. they all fit but on the tranny there are two studs that stick up the one farest back is to short can i pull this out and just get a longer one or what should i do. then on the driver the mount that mounts to the block the type r one the two studs are too close together to fit the mount so i put the gsr one on an then it was turned to much it wouldnt fit the bracket. if there is anything else that i would need please let me know. can sumone please help me so i can get this beast on the road. thanks john

I think the mounts from your old engine should fit. 95+ should fit any b-series period. Did you buy special mounts or urethane mounts?

92-95 civics don't need aftermarket mounts. 96 and up needs the drivers side and rear mount from a 99-00 civic Si...

I would send the mounts back, let them know your setup, and tell them that they don't fit...

well ive talked to a few ppl around here and what i need all the mounts fit the car i just have to get the bracket for the driver side mount off of a B16 a or 99 si . but does anyone know if i can take the studs out of the tranny where the mount goes and replace them with longer ones???????

as long as its a grade a bolt, sure, use the longer bolts.

on honda-tech i found a post about avid mounts with the same problem. what happen was the motor ripped out the frame rail and did alot of damage to the car. i have type r in my 99 coupe with hasport mounts. they fit and work great. i wouldnt go with any thing else. just my 2 cents.
