i know it will be hard to get it to hook up on the pavement but how hard would that be to hook up under the hood of a crix? and is there a company that has a mount kit for it?

I think Hasport has mounts for that...I'll tell you right now though, it's a big job. Why do you think it'll be so hard to get it to hook up on the pavement though? H23s aren't really power houses.

it is very hard but still possible:

mounting: hasport doesn't make a kit for this swap...i believe only place racing makes a "weld in" kit for this swap. This is defined as a lot of cutting and welding(definatly not bolt in)...the motor itself it much bigger and taller...i have heard of people having to cut out some of the firewall to fit...also you would have to raise your car 3 inches just to make it streetable...

wiring: you would have to change to obd1...not that bad but it is a must...i don't think there is a obd0 distributors that can fit the h23 or h22...

clutch and axles: you would have to convert your clutch to hydrolic which i heard is a bitch...also you may not be able to use standard axles...you may have to use the custom axles from place racing...

my opinion: it is too expensive and not worth the money....i would only do this if i wanted to make a "race-only" car...the aftermarket support for the h22 or h23 is not as near for the b-series...unless you have a unlimited supply of money then go for it...if you are like me and money is a problem, then think of a hp goal and/or et goal. then figure out which would be a cheaper route to acheieve that goal and do that...
