h22a LAG
Hey whats up guys? I was wondering if any of you could help me with my problem. I have some SERIOUS lag in my car. It happens from 0 - 5500rpm and then VTEC kicks in and she flies. I have no clue what it could be. I've checked all my vacuum lines, IAB, vacuum tank, MAP sensor and spark plugs. The only thing now is to try the O2 sensor and a compression check. Has anyone ever experienced this before?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you'd like, IM me at Sirex or AccoLude4Chris on AIM. Thanks for the help guys..

My initial thought were wondering if you had a V-AFC or something like that. The Spoon chip should do a lot of the same stuff as the V-AFC. I've had my V-AFC setup wrong before and my S2000 could barely get out of it's own way. Do you have access to a stock ECU?

My guess is that the Spoon chip really isn't tuned to work well with the performance stuff that you have, and it's running rich or something. When the cams switch, it probably works a little better when the engine needs more fuel anyway.. I'm guessing that it all boils down to the fact that that program isn't set up to work with your car, and it was probably meant to work with different cams and fueling requirements than you have...... Just my $0.02
