[QUOTE=greygti]over boosting on a KO3 will murder it. With that said, I'd definetly do a GIAC-X chip.

Yeah, i def never found more than 1 thread about a k03 having probs because of a revo chip. If so they prob put shell oil and ran 87 octane and neglected things that need to be done.

Yea i don't think i'll be chipping right away, don't really know enough about it to do it. Isn't the drop in filter more restrictive than just a CAI? If not i'll go down that road. I do like all of GHL's stuff. If i get a catback i guess i can still upgrade to turbo back later right? Also who does good installations around newport news? I'm kinda on the border of williamsburg and newport news so I could really go either way. Would I have to do anything else but give them the cat back system to put on? I think someone told me I had to put a bigger pipe on it or something.

I read in a exhuast shootout the the GHL exhuast is the best for power. There intake made the most power as well. People say it's loud as well, but my friends 3" tb is perfect.

It's not just a problem with Revo. It's about overboosting. I know more than one person who has gone through KO3s. I also know people who have run 30psi on one (and yes, I know it won't hold 30psi to redline).

I've been through a k03s already..

Mine was replaced under warranty at like 15k miles. At that point in time, I took the diode and the boostvalve off

IMO it is defiently the best. The quality of their products is amazing. Miltek is good, but I've read way to many threads about misaligned tips. THat is unsatisfactory for a product that costs over $1000 IMO.

Wow. Who knew? Overboostin' a KO3 will hurt it? Say it isn't so.

back at you. 20psi is not overboost. I never spiked above 20psi with my boostvalve. I never cranked it beyond that.

Why do you think I have REVO software now though? Partial throttle was ridiculously choppy with the boostvalve and 4.3v diode.
