Yo i found the GHL gear, nice stuff. i think im gonna go with the 3 inch. Resonator a good idea? I like low growling muscle sound and a vulgar display of power in the higher RPM's. Also with the Revo Software, I've seen alot of different packages and programs, Im not looking for anything other than a nice boost in HP. Whats the best package and who sells it the cheapest?

the K03 turbo that is on your car is VERY small and to me a 3" exhaust is overkill...the 2.5" turboback GHL exhaust will do just fine unless you are upgrading your turbo.

as far as chips go, i just recently chipped my '05 GLI w/ the GIAC X+ software and its amazing. I spike 21-22psi and hold at 18-19psi. The GIAC chip will produce about 35hp and around 70ft/lb over stock at the wheels. Its $495 for the basic chip with no other options than 93 octane.

NEUSPEED also makes a very good chip for the 1.8T. Although, a GIAC chip is also a very good choice. I have heard nothing but good about both chips. Anyways, NEUSPEED makes a variety of products for 1.8T so you should check out their website.

For the love of go go with the revo 4 bar with the right n75 valve you could be boosting alot higher than 22 pounds and doing it safely on 93 octane!!!

AEM CAI or INJEN will get the job done!

Do you have a GTI, or a Jetta? If you have a GTI, and the cops aren't strict about exhaust in your area, I would get the non-resonated 3" turboback and dynomat your hatch underneath the carpet to prevent droning. Jetta isn't too bad with drone or in-cabin resonance. I might be able to get you a good deal...

And for REVO, if you're willing to drive to the Greensboro area, I'm friends with a REVO dealer. Very good guy! You'll LOVE Revo! I do!

Is he still doing Revo installs? From what I heard, he wasn't doing it anymore.
