Gsr Head on a dart block

Gsr Head on a dart block
Going to make a engine and I was wondering a couple of things. First, what would happen if I put the B18c1 head on the dart block? Would it work? Second, are the dart blocks good for daily driving? I am trying to make this motor last for awhile...say 100k miles.

Dude, it's a Dart block. Why daily drive that thing? I'd boost the hell out of that. That block is like the ultimate race block. Yes, a GSR head will work....

I understand what I would have and how much it can take. However I am looking for a way to make it last longer than one pass on the track. This engine would also be used for the daily drive. Call me crazy...that is just what I want. Since the Gsr head would work I might just use that head insted of the B16.
Still though.....how long would it last as a daily driver, say pushing 17psi?

Reliability depends on many factors. Who knows what your driving habits are and what kind of set-up you have. Not to mention tuning. Simply saying, Dart block, GSR head, xx psi doesnt help anybody. I'm sure you already have a turbo size and fuel management in mind. I guess what you really want to know is what pistons/rods combo people would recommend. If that's the case, then do whatever everybody else is doing... CP 9.1:1 pistons and whatever after rods.....
GSR head and B16 head doesnt have that much of a difference on stock form. I will post the flow sheet later.

When finished building a huge part of how long it will last or how it will run is in the tuning...If your going to spend 2000 dollars on a hunk of metal for the block, Make sure you aren't cheap with your ems.

Cool. Thanks for the flow chart. Now, I guess the point of all this would be to ask if anyone here knows of anybody who has had there build last awhile. What they did and so on. Trying to get info on this subject as much as I can. I am just trying to learn.
