Default got another question about my gsr

i am building a gsr motor with a sc61 turbo. so far i have the block griddle, and i just bought a block gurad yesterday and i am planning on sleeveing the block, now the question is should i use the block griddle and the block guard. i was reading a thread for a nitrous motor and it made me think. so here i am wanting to learn so help me if you can. i am planning on running 25lbs of boost

If you're planning on sleeving the block, don't get a block guard. You can't use both if you're getting something like the flanged AEBS sleeves..

get your block darton sleeved and use the block guard or just get a dart block and you will be fine. either way the bottom end is going to probably cost over $4000 depending upon what size bore you go with and what type of internals you go with

ok i have je pistons ,eagle h rods and a stock crank and block griddle was told it had 9to1 comp have not check yet to make sure. And aint a dart block just for drag strip only this will be driven a little on the steet and at the drag strip and if i sleeve it do i need the block griddle and what do you think about a light weight crank will it be to much rpm with the sc61 turbo

I'd use the factory girdle and I'd get the motor sleeved.

Talk to several companies and different people that you trust and others trust and make a selection based off that.
