motors almos two years old.. lol she aint blow yet.. i dont see DSM on the car any where.. lol.. and last time i checked the gas tank and motor are in diff spots.. damn.. dont the DSM hand book tell you that? lol

 

have you pulled out your back seat and smelt the underside. could just need a cleaning

 

yea pulled it out.. re-sealed the shit 2 days ago.. break cleaned all the parts and tank out side.. and any where their might be gas.. one thing i wonderd is if the vent tube that runs to the front could be an issue if blocked some how.. when i wired tucked and took all the stuff out but motor trans and bat.. i cut that line back and got rid of the charcol tank.. but im pretty sure that alone would not do it.. most people pull that shit out any way.

 

True that rick but if your smelling fuel that strong then it shouldnt be this hard to find.

 

the only thing with that is it dose not take much gas to have a strong smell.. you know how it goes, u can pump a bit and get a lil on you hand or pants and that shit can stink up a room.. im good with finding leaks and stuff like that and im stumped.. im to the point of dropping the tank.. welding up any holes and adding a sump and running a new pump and lines lol.. then i know theirs no chance lol.. the smell is the only reason i might be trading my car for an EK.. the kid dont seem to smell it.. i might just have a strong nose.. lol

the rubber tube going from your filler cap to the tank will deteriorate over time. even when there isnt gas inside it, smell can still excape from it. or even better, when you go through a turn, a little will spill. i would check that.

 

Will do, i think im going to get all new seals and the rubber hose and call it a day.. after that i would not know what the hell to do.. it deff happens more in turns so that might be it. Thanks for the help.
