Default front wheel drive, front inner tire wear

i've only had these tires on the front for about three or four months, but the wire banding in the tires are already showing on the inner tread of the tire.

i've heard it could be the ball joints, which according to my haynes manual are in the control arms and it recommends buying all new control arms, but i'm hoping it's something less expensive.

what are the causes of the camber that would result in inner tire wear?

i would take and have it aligned...it probably has bad toe.

which means the tires are either pointed towards each other or away from each other and not where they should be...

i believe if the are pointed out then it will wear the inner out

If the ball joints are shot could be a reason. Isn't if the tires are pointing toward or away from each other camber though? meanin' inside of the tires are showing camber wear?

pointing towards and apart is toe in and out

camber is when the top of the tire leans in...like when lowered...hence the reason for camber kits.

Your toe is out of spec. Take it to a shop, get a four wheel alignment, and let 'er eat, homie.
