what kind of car?
basically you need socket set, the bigass socket for the cv axle nut, tie rod end puller, big fucking hammer, a breaker bar (or impact tools), snapring pliers...and you'll want a mechanical press to push the bearing into the hub. but it's really easy. didnt take me long to do.

What year acclaim? Im assuming with your question that the bearing is a sealed unit? Chrysler offers the bearing assembly. You pull the axle nut off, possibly the tie rod, but i just usually pull the through bolt out of the lower ball joint and use a BIG ASS prybar or equivalent, and then unbolt the bearing assembly from the backside. Ive never separated the bearing before. Ive never had too. I suppose aftermarket bearings might require a press.
