Default Frankenstein Knock help

I got a 92 prelude with an h22/h23 frankenstein and i get a knock around 2,200 and 2,400 rpm's, i get it on idle too but once i start moving it goes away till it hits 2,200 and then goes away after 2,400

any ideas?

wow...need more detail...alot more detial.

Trying to diag a knocking/ticking noise over the internet is like trying to have real sex over the internet....its just not going to happen,lol.

if your close to fredericksburg,PM me,id be willing to help you out. if not,trying to get help over the net instead of someone actually listening to the noise in person,is slim to none.


PS: AND though both of you are right,always tune,its not your problem. Your using all stock parts (dont know what ecu your running) but not tuning a set up like that will not cause a "knock" or ping. might run like shit,but wont ping or knock due to a "tune" using a stock block and stock head.

it's been tuned

safe race tuned to 10,000 rpm

car runs as good as it has before even in high rev


but the knocking just randomly started after i switched out the starter

one of my boys mentioned it may be my flywheel but i have no clue

btw most everything on the car is not stock



i live out in VB if anybody wants to help me in person

Couple buddies have had flywheel bolts back out, and cause the same situation. I always use threadlocker so they dont.

it was def the flywheel

gonna get it taken to the shop tomorrow :[
