based on the questions you just asked i doubt you will ever have to worry about your 240 ever having enough power to overload anypart of the car.

Manual tranny+bellhousing

center console

hard lines between master and slave cylinders
5 speed driveshaft
clutch pedal assembly
brake pedal*
5-speed ECU

you can use your auto brake pedal, but you have to cut it in order to fit the clutch pedal in there.

You're going to have to pull the motor to do it, so you'll need all the goodies associated with that, as well as a good torque wrench, and a 2 1/2" hole saw that will cut through the firewall and a dremel to polish the hole.

If you need help with it, let me know.
How much is a auto - manual swap going to run some one? I was thinking of doing one when I get some time....

you only need the front piece of drive shaft that connects to the tranny, just some info.

andy,

my 240 > your 240

jk

there was a good read on the turboing of the ka24de motor in sport compact car this month. i know its not the best place but its a good place to at least get an idea. it has a red 95 240 with a cf hood, boosted, on the cover.

also, ive found that nicoclub.com has alot of great info. they have write ups for auto to manny swaps, sections on boosting your motor ect.

I'd say around $300 offhand...maybe more, maybe less.

True, but it's usually easier just to get the whole driveshaft.

Why? Because I'm doing my research? I have NO history whatsoever with Nissans. Now you can ask me anything about 91-95 MR2's and I will probably know. But at one point I knew nothing about them either.

Anywho, I'm sure Boostfed can vouch for some of the parts I've gotten from him.

Next time keep your smartass comments to yourselves.
