what is the loudest your car can be?
i got a ticket last night and searched by the cops,
for my exhaust,he said it has to look & sound like a stock
honda...what is the real story on that if anyone can help?

If you want to know the decibel level of a certain model you can write to the manufacturer. If you are asking about what is legal, according ot the rule book nothing that is altered from factory specs. all of the specs including size, noise, routing and anything else you can think of.

 

this doesnt make sense because everyone is getting a ticket. but i asked a cop and he said as long as it looks stock. but he also said that they can not test it on how loud it is. i have a straight pipe and a header with a high flow cat and my shit is too loud for me. but i havent got stopped because it was too loud. just take it easy and dont get on it everytime. i open my up when i get on the highway and out on country roads.

when i got stopped for my exhaust ticket they said that it doesnt matter how big the tip it as long as the sound is quiet then it doesnt matter. jus either get a silencer or jus swap the exhaust or a oem then swap it right back on.

 

get a rsr ex mag exhaust. not to loud not to quit. looks stock. i got a rsr with a resonator and no cat.

 

Yea thats the thing, i was going 40mph & i was in 5th gear at 2 grand. my car wasnt even close to being loud and he pulled me over.
