Default engine swap problems

i have a 91 civic hb nonvtec it had a d15b1 engine in it at first and i replaced it wit a d16a6 engine from what i have heard its a direct swap. i left the motor mpfi and used my intake manifold from the d15 motor should i have used the intake manifold from the d16a6 instead. no codes come up the car starts up runs perfect then dies down as if its not gettin any fuel. i checked the timing, spark plugs, firing order, everything is good. no check engine light is on. need some help

You need to find a PM6 ecu I believe. Hook that up, and it should fire right up.

A PM6 ECU will not work well with a DPFI intake manifold.
