okay...theres a weird grinding and rattlnig noise comin out of my tranny....form N to 1st, 1st to 2nd, and 2nd to 3rd....when i accelerate, it makes that noise and i dont know WTF it is and tryna figure that shit out,,,anyone know wassup?

if its coming from the tranny then its most likely the synchros inside the tranny...they are going bad...

pretty soon you wont have that gear...like you would put it in 3rd gear and the motor would just rev...


well come to think about it...you said when you accelerate its doing it too?

so..when was the last time that the clutch, throw-out bearing, and pilot bearing were replaced...that might be your first move...

bearings make tha tnoise all the time, when they go bad...

check tranny fluid as well...replace it if its old..or if there is hardly any in it..

 

bought it used....yeh it makes the noise while accelerating...juss got a new OEM clutch from honda..dunno bout the bearings but ill check into that..

5 Speed, he said he just got a new clutch from honda.

It is a bearing, the only way you will be able to figure out which one it is would be to open up the tranny.

i would take it to a respectable shop around town..?

i have a family friend that works at honda...he does our stuff for free or cheap prices...like with my clutch all we had to do was buy the oem honda clutch with his employee discount and he installed it for free. i just want to know how much those parts would run for
