Question Electrical Issues

I have a 98 Chrysler Concorde and my cluster is all out of wack. I'm getting a "no bus" reading where my mileage should be and my gauges are not responding. Ex.. I have a full tank of gas and the gauge is stuck on "E". Also my lights in my cluster stay on even though I have my headlights off. Anyone have any idea of whats going on or has anyone seen this before and have a solution?

The dash issue is worn contacts in the ignition switch. Replace the electrical portion of the switch where the contacts are located, you don't have to replace the part where the key goes in.

For the lights, does the dome light come on as well? If so, there is a dimmer for the dash lights, it may be in the "always on" position. Spin it back down off that highest setting.

Yeah, I checked if that switch was on and it was on the default setting. so the dome light doesn't come on, just the lights in the dash.

thanks for the info! Is it recommended to get a ecu from ebay or does it have to be brand new?

i always get junkyard one and try it...also the concorde has a body ecu...i would suspect that is the issue as long as the car still runs and drives

if your in va beach area hit up pick and pull...there are probably 4-5 concordes/intrepids in there
